Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition and revenue growth in the UAE market. Your focus will be on expanding our footprint in Agri, Mineral, Marine, General Goods, and consumer products sectors, leveraging your proven sales expertise to secure new clients and foster long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition: Identify, engage, and onboard new clients (importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, shippers) requiring inspection, testing, quality and other third party control services.

Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of Agri, Mineral, Marine, General Goods and Consumer Products industries to tailor solutions that meet client needs.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute targeted sales plans to meet/exceed revenue goals.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers, ensuring client retention and repeat business.

Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to position TIC QC as the preferred partner.

Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to deliver seamless service and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

✔ Proven Track Record: Minimum 8 years in B2B sales/business development in, and third party inspection services and quality control .

✔ Sector Knowledge: Experience in Agri, Mineral, Marine, General Goods and Consumer Product Industries is a must.

✔ UAE Market Expertise: Strong network and understanding of local business dynamics.

✔ Hunter Mentality: Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and drive revenue growth.

✔ Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

✔ Self-Motivated: Independent worker with a results-driven mindset.

✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven track record in B2B sales or business development.
  • Industry Expertise: Direct experience in Agri, Mineral, Marine, General Goods, and Consumer Products sectors.
  • Inspection/Quality Control Background: Prior exposure to third-party inspection, testing, certification, or quality control services.
  • UAE Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE business culture, regulatory environment, and local supply chain dynamics.
  • Client Network: Established contacts with importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, and shippers.
  • Sales Ability: Demonstrated success in generating leads, closing high-value deals, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, independent, and able to work under pressure with a target-driven mindset.

Preferred/Desirable Requirements

  • Advanced Degree: MBA or equivalent in Sales/Marketing or International Business.
  • Multilingual Skills: Fluency in Arabic, Hindi, or other regional languages (advantage in client communication).
  • Global Exposure: Experience in handling international clients, tenders, and cross-border trade.
  • Technical Understanding: Knowledge of product testing, inspection protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office Suite for reporting and pipeline management.
  • Leadership Potential: Ability to mentor junior sales staff or build a sales team as the business grows.
