Roles & Responsibilities

As a Business Development Intern, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students who register for the Business School Festival Istanbul. Your role is critical in ensuring that students move from initial interest to confirmed attendance. This internship is perfect for those who enjoy speaking with people, building trust over the phone, and want hands-on experience in marketing, events, and higher education engagement.

Key Responsibilities Lead Engagement & Registration Call leads generated through online advertising and campaigns. Confirm student details and complete their registration process during the call. Clearly communicate the value of attending the Business School Festival. Event Promotion & Awareness Explain the event highlights, including participating universities, scholarship opportunities, and career outcomes. Address frequently asked questions regarding MBA/Master’s programs, application process, and event logistics. Build excitement and urgency by emphasizing limited-seat availability and exclusive access to admissions directors. Follow-up & Reminders Conduct reminder calls/messages in the days leading up to the event to ensure maximum turnout. Provide clear instructions for attendance (venue, time, what to bring, etc.). Track and report confirmations. Record Keeping & Reporting Maintain an accurate daily log of calls, responses, and confirmed attendees. Share updates with the SEED team on progress and challenges. Collaborate with supervisors to refine communication approaches based on student feedback.

Volunteering at the Event Event Date: Saturday, 08 November 2025 Event Venue: Hilton Riyadh Olaya Event Start Time: 12:30 PM All volunteers are required to report at 10:00 AM Volunteers will receive an honorarium of 100 SAR (inclusive of travel and conveyance). Please note: No additional reimbursements will be made. Meals and refreshments will be provided during the event. Dress Code: Formal attire is mandatory. What to carry? - A fully charged mobile phone & Power bank/phone charger.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong verbal communication skills in Arabic + English. Confident, persuasive, and professional on the phone. Ability to explain information clearly and handle basic student queries. Reliable, organized, and comfortable working with targets. Interest in marketing, events, or higher education is a plus. Access to a personal phone and stable internet connection for remote calling. Must be available for flexible hours within the internship period. Stipend Your compensation will be based on two factors: the number of candidates you successfully register, and the number of those registered candidates who actually attend the event. The payout structure is outlined below: For Registrations You will not be paid per registration. You must complete at least 50 registrations to be eligible for a payout. 60 SAR fixed pay – Minimum 60 registrations 120 SAR fixed pay – Minimum 100 registrations (Total 120 SAR, not including 60 for 50 registrations) If you reach 50 registrations or 100 registrations target, you will also receive 60 SAR of a mobile reimbursement. Attendee Payout (Based on Undergraduate Completion Year) Graduates from 2024, 2025, 2026 – 15 SAR per attendee Graduates from 2014 to 2023 – 24 SAR per attendee Additionally, if any counsellor successfully sources 30 attendees (per city), they will receive an extra 200 SAR bonus over and above the per-attendee payout.
