Assortment Development:

  • Introduce new Filipino SKUs (food, non-food, H&B, perfumes) based on community preferences and demand trends.
  • Optimize the assortment mix by store cluster (Filipino-dense locations vs. general stores).
  • Rationalize SKUs and expand fast-moving lines based on sales and customer feedback.

Vendor Sourcing & Relationship Building:

  • Develop and manage a reliable vendor base for Filipino products, including distributors, importers, and direct suppliers.
  • Negotiate best terms for pricing, promotional support, and visibility contributions.
  • Ensure supplier engagement in in-store activities, sampling, and cultural tie-ups.

Sales, Margins & Reporting:

  • Achieve TL (Top Line) and GP (Gross Profit) targets for Filipino category by store and product line.
  • Monitor performance using reports like: OOS alerts, NIL sales, GP deviation, and weekly promo effectiveness.
  • Take immediate field action to improve product movement, correct pricing, or fix merchandising gaps.

Promotion & Campaign Planning:

  • Plan and execute Filipino community-focused promotions, themed weeks, or campaign tie-ins (e.g., Fiesta, Christmas, Independence Day).
  • Activate vendor-led campaigns in collaboration with marketing and store ops.
