A Business Development Consultant (Recruitment) plays a pivotal role in the growth and expansion of recruitment services within a consulting firm. This strategic role involves fostering and maintaining relationships with clients to identify and create business opportunities in the domain of recruitment. The consultant should possess a strong understanding of market trends, client needs, and innovative recruitment practices. They are expected to have excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise between clients and their organization. Furthermore, this position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential market opportunities and devising strategies to capture them. The Business Development Consultant (Recruitment) will work closely with the recruitment and business development teams to ensure that client needs are effectively met, which in turn contributes to the overall business growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the recruitment sector.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients to enhance business growth.

- Create and maintain a detailed client database for potential leads.

- Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.

- Attend industry events and networking sessions to expand professional connections.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development within the recruitment industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and client relationship management.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and drive business growth.
