Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Business Development Account Director, you will play a critical role in Nomia s growth, responsible for driving new logo acquisition across our priority regions. This is a true hunter role you ll be knocking down doors, generating new opportunities, owning the full sales cycle, and closing deals that deliver real value to our customers. br> You ll be supported by an experienced leadership team, a dedicated presales function, and best-in-class tools, with the opportunity to make a visible impact and accelerate your career as we scale globallybr>
Responsibilities br>
- Identify and engage prospects across our key markets (UK, North America, UAE) br>
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal and close br>
- Generate and convert pipeline opportunities, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets br>
- Develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (C-level, VP, Director level) br>
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Presales, and Leadership teams to execute GTM strategies br>
- Leverage presales support to help shape solution positioning and run successful sales engagements br>
- Accurately forecast pipeline and maintain up-to-date CRM records to support reporting and planning br>
- Represent Nomia at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities br>
- Being a brand ambassador for Nomia, driving awareness and credibility in the market
Qualifications/Skills br>
- 5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, procurement tech, or enterprise software br>
- Proven hunter mindset with the drive to open doors and close new business br>
- Skilled at selling to C-suite and senior decision-makers, navigating complex sales cycles br>
- Strong collaboration skills with presales and cross-functional teams br>
- Excellent communicator with a track record of exceeding revenue goals br>
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments br>
- Comfortable with remote selling across multiple geographies br>
- Proficiency in CRM and opportunity management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Nice to have br>
- Knowledge of procurement, spend management, or supply chain technology
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or SPIN
- Experience managing long consultative sales cycles (6+ months) with large ACV (£250K+) deals

- Whilst this position is Hybrid, twice a week working from the office is required, possibly more whilst training and if requested by supervisor.
