Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and commission BMS systems to optimize building operations and energy efficiency
  • Develop automated control sequences and logic for HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAV boxes, and other HVAC components
  • Configure BMS software, field controllers, sensors, and actuators to achieve desired building automation functionality
  • Integrate BMS systems with other building systems such as access control, fire alarms, and metering
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with BMS and HVAC control systems
  • Provide technical support and training to facility management and operations staff
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, mechanical engineers, and technicians
  • Document all programming, configuration, and commissioning work for future reference

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience programming and configuring BMS and HVAC control systems
  • Proficient in BMS software such as (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls) and programming methods
  • Strong understanding of HVAC system components, control strategies, and integration principles
  • Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, Lon Works) and network infrastructure
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control system drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to liaise with clients and project teams
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
