Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Requirements
• 1. Conduct daily meetings with Consultants to track BIM design progress, identify potential issues, and ensure timely resolution to avoid delays.
• 2. Ensure project deadlines are met and all necessary information is provided to consultants to facilitate smooth workflow and project progression.
• 3. Organize workshops to support consultants in areas where BIM expertise is lacking, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• 4. Manage and update BIM documentation, including BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Model LOD Registers, Sheet LODs, Responsibility Matrices, and BIM Competence Assessments.
• 5. Review and approve BIM documentation before forwarding it to the Lead Design Consultant (LDC) for further review and subsequent submission to the Project Management Consultant (PMC)/Client for final approval.
• 6. Conduct comprehensive reviews of BIM models received from consultants, ensuring adherence to required LOD levels and quality standards. This includes reviewing native files, clash detection reports, and conducting clash detection between different services.
• 7. Prepare and submit milestone BIM submissions, including detailed reports, to the PMO/Client for review and approval. Facilitate handovers of BIM models and documentation at project milestones.
• 8. Generate monthly reports on project progress and updates, including federated BIM models and coordination reviews. Update and maintain records of project assets and coordination issues.
• 9. Collaborate weekly with the PMO and Lead Design Consultants to provide updates on project progress and address coordination issues.
• 10. Package BIM models received from sub-consultants and distribute NWC files to relevant parties. Maintain a register to track model distribution and receipt.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM management within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience with PowerBI is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support junior team members.
