BIM Architect

We are seeking an experienced BIM Architect to join our innovative and dynamic architectural team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a passion for leveraging technology to drive design excellence in architecture. As a BIM Architect, you will be responsible for integrating and managing BIM processes and methodologies into projects from the conceptual stage through construction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that our design projects are not only innovative and sustainable but also completed on time and within budget. Your expertise in BIM will be instrumental in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our architectural design processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of BIM processes across architectural projects.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to align BIM models with design objectives.
• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure cohesive models.
• Conduct BIM model reviews and clash detection to ensure design integrity.
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and best practices.
• Integrate sustainable design principles into BIM workflows and decision-making processes.
• Update and manage BIM models to reflect design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between project teams using BIM models.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute innovative solutions using BIM technology.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of BIM data for all project documentation.
• Stay updated on advancements in BIM technology and industry trends to incorporate into practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with BIM processes in architecture.
• Proven expertise in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of architectural design processes and construction methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve design clashes efficiently.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
