Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Bid Specialist with strong expertise in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and end-to-end bid lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will also have strong exposure to IT & Cyber Security solutions, Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and Salesforce (SFDC), enabling them to craft technically sound and commercially viable proposals. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver winning bids that align with strategic business goals.

Bid Management:

  • Lead and manage the entire bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to final submission.
  • Develop and maintain bid plans, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals.

Financial Modeling & Pricing Analysis:

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Align pricing with market benchmarks, client expectations, and internal margin targets.

Technical & Solution Understanding:

  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand and articulate IT and Cyber Security solutions.
  • Integrate SharePoint and Salesforce (SFDC) capabilities into bid responses where applicable.
  • Translate technical inputs into clear, client-focused proposal content.

Proposal Development:

  • Draft and review proposal documents, ensuring alignment with RFP/RFI requirements.
  • Develop executive summaries, win themes, and value propositions.
  • Ensure proposals are professionally formatted and visually engaging.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with sales, finance, legal, and delivery teams to gather inputs and approvals.
  • Present bid strategies and pricing models to senior leadership for review and sign-off.
  • Conduct post-bid reviews and lessons learned sessions.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure all bids adhere to internal governance policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of bid submissions, approvals, and outcomes.
  • Dashboarding and MIS reporting

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in bid management, pricing analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Strong exposure to IT solutions, Cyber Security, SharePoint, and Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • APMP Foundation Certification is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in [industry-specific bidding, e.g., IT services, cybersecurity, consulting].
  • Familiarity with bid management tools (e.g., RFPIO, Qvidian, SharePoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
