Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and provide a warm, inviting experience for customers
- Analyze customers' skin and beauty needs
- Recommend and sell beauty products and services
- Provide makeovers and other beauty services
- Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and product releases
- Demonstrate makeup techniques and skincare routines
- Educate customers on product ingredients and benefits
- Answer customer questions about product selection, application, and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including product displays and testers
- Stock shelves and replenish inventory
- Process customer transactions
- Participate in store events and promotions
- Build relationships with customers and provide follow-up service
Desired Candidate Profile
1+ year of experience in a retail or customer service setting
Strong knowledge of beauty products and services
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Proficiency in makeup artistry or skincare
Certification in relevant beauty areas (such as makeup artistry or cosmetology, preferred in some cases)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of fragrances and perfume trends is a plus
