Role Summary
The Bartender plays a key role in creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere at the hotel s bar or restaurant outlets. The role involves mixing drinks, managing bar operations, and delivering exceptional guest service while adhering to safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer requests.
* Ensure proper presentation of drinks with correct garnishes and glassware.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beverages, and trends.
* Greet guests warmly and interact with them in a friendly, professional manner.
* Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
* Handle customer concerns courteously and ensure guest satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout service hours.
* Restock inventory, including beverages, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, as required.
* Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations.
* Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible service of alcohol.
* Manage billing, process cash and card payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
* Assist with event bar setups, breakdowns, and promotional activities.
* Support the team during peak service times and maintain a positive work environment.
* Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety standards in all food and beverage handling.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel preferred.
* Knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic understanding of F&B products and menu items.
* Professional appearance and grooming standards.
* Team-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
* Must be legally eligible to serve alcoholic beverages as per UAE regulations.
