Position Overview
La Cigale Hotel in Doha, managed by Accor, is seeking a Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and management of all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. This leadership role ensures luxury standards are met through exceptional service, efficient operations, and close collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Core Duties
* Lead and support banquet and F&B outlets in achieving financial and operational targets
* Manage and mentor the banquet team to deliver consistent five-star service
* Oversee event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown for weddings, corporate meetings, and social events
* Collaborate with sales and events teams to customize banquet offerings to client needs
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
* Monitor department budgets, applying cost control while upholding luxury guest experiences
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations
* Maintain accurate inventory of banquet equipment and supplies
* Review and analyze Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) with the catering and conference services team
* Attend and contribute to pre-convention, departmental, and staff meetings
* Guide and evaluate team performance, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
* Develop departmental policies and implement strategies for high-quality, cost-effective operations
* Assist in preparing annual budgets and strategic plans, achieving financial and service targets
* Drive service innovation and guest satisfaction through ongoing feedback analysis and process improvements
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Banquet Manager or in a senior event operations role within a luxury hotel
* Expertise in event planning, food and beverage operations, and luxury guest services
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire high performance
* Excellent interpersonal and client relationship-building skills
* Solid organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple events simultaneously
* Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and service excellence
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
