AV Programmer

Our client is seeking an Audio-Visual Programmer who is responsible for the design, standardization, and implementation of audio-visual (AV) systems and programming. This role involves the development of AV infrastructure standards, hands-on programming, maintenance, and support for AV solutions across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complex audio, video, and control system standards and ensure global adoption

• Develop and implement structured wiring and configuration standards for AV systems, following industry best practices

• Provide consultation on new and existing AV projects, offering technical recommendations and feedback

• Perform daily administration and monitoring of AV equipment and project locations

• Program, troubleshoot, test, correct, and commission Crestron control systems

• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all AV systems

• Provide technical support for Apple products and related AV integrations

• Lead the design and commissioning of AV projection systems, including cinema setups

• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive work environments

• Research, evaluate, and recommend enhancements or upgrades to AV technologies

• Diagnose and troubleshoot networking issues related to static and dynamic IP configurations

• Identify and resolve AV hardware or system failures, taking ownership through resolution

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or a related technical field

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar AV programming or systems integration role

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage

• Proven problem-solving abilities

• Capable of working independently and managing projects autonomously

• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments

• Willingness to provide 24/7 support when required
