Motor Vehicle Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors. Work involves most of the following: Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required; replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors; overhauling transmissions; and repairing fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems. In general, the work of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.

Minimum Four years directly related work experience.
Working knowledge of how heavy duty machinery, engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions and other parts and systems work.
Ability to detect faulty items, determine cause of malfunction, and determine best repair methods.
Maintain maintenance records and documentation in accordance with government regulations and local policies.
Ability to assemble, disassemble, repair, or modify components and systems. Ability to read and interpret parts lists, manufacturers and Government repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Limited A/C repair and service on a wide range of automotive and material handling equipment.
Thorough understanding of the principles of operation and required repairs of all components and sub-components including but not limited to the Suspension, Engine, Transmission, Transfers, Differentials, wreckers, winches and sub-components.
Ability to utilize Technical Manuals, Lubrication Orders/Instructions, and Modification Instructions to repair all rolling stock assets.
Possess a valid local Bahraini driver s license.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Should be locally available in Bahrain and ready for immediate joining
