Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings that meet industry standards, ensuring precision and clarity in design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop design concepts, translating ideas into technical drawings that reflect project requirements.
- Review and modify existing drawings, incorporating feedback and ensuring accuracy in dimensions and materials.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including revision logs and design change records, for easy reference and compliance.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess conditions, ensuring that designs align with real-world applications.
- Utilize advanced AutoCAD features and tools, such as parametric constraints and 3D modeling, to enhance design efficiency and innovation.
- Prepare presentation drawings and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD software developments and industry trends to continuously improve design practices.
- Assist in project management tasks, including timelines and budgeting, to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, showcasing a solid foundation in design principles.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in AutoCAD design, demonstrating a track record of successful project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with a strong understanding of its advanced features and functionalities.
- Experience in relevant industries such as construction, manufacturing, or civil engineering, providing practical context to design work.
- Certification in AutoCAD or similar design software, validating expertise and commitment to the profession.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing specifications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms, facilitating collaboration with team members and clients.
- Problem-solving skills to tackle design challenges creatively and efficiently, adapting to project needs.
