Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix paint and clear coats according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring color accuracy and finish quality.
- Apply paint using various techniques such as spray guns, brushes, and rollers, while maintaining a consistent and even coat.
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, runs, or blemishes, and perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in automotive refinishing is an asset.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive painting or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized automotive paint and body school is preferred.
- Proven experience with color matching techniques and knowledge of various paint systems.
