Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.
  • Replacing vehicle electrical circuits , diagnostics software and error code rectification mechanisms, and braking systems.
  • Checking vehicle lighting systems.
  • Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop
  • Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
  • Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
  • Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles -volvo isuzu & SCANIA truck
  • Performing inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.
  • Completing preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, and replacing brakes.
  • Inspecting internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records relating to clients, their vehicles, parts, and service history.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma / ITI - mechanical or automotive or equivalent.
  • 2- 5+ years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic - Trucks
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair & Maintenance of vehicles Volvo , Scania .
  • Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 Kg
  • Excellent reading and writing skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
