- Assess vehicle damage and determine the best repair methods, ensuring accuracy in estimation and approach.
- Utilize specialized tools and techniques to remove dents without damaging the vehicle's paint, emphasizing precision.
- Collaborate closely with body shop technicians to integrate dent repair processes into broader vehicle restoration efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, reflecting professionalism and enhancing workflow efficiency.
- Keep detailed records of repairs completed, parts used, and time spent on each job for quality control and customer service.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and techniques in dent repair to continuously improve skills and service quality.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of repairs needed and costs involved.
- Perform quality checks on completed repairs to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and improve shop productivity without compromising repair quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
Repair damaged
- High school diploma or equivalent, with specialized training in automotive body repair preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in auto dent repair or related automotive services.
- Certification from recognized automotive repair programs, showcasing professional credibility.
- Proficient understanding of various dent repair techniques, including PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) and traditional methods.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring every repair meets high-quality standards and customer expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate repair processes and options to customers clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, fostering collaboration within the shop.
- Familiarity with automotive repair software for documentation and customer management.
