Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of body damage.
- Repair dents, dings, and structural damage using appropriate tools and techniques (hammering, welding, pulling, filling, etc.).
- Cut, grind, and shape metal parts to fit vehicle body structure.
- Align and fit panels, doors, bumpers, and other body parts.
- Weld replacement parts into place when necessary.
- Work closely with painters to prepare vehicles for painting.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
- Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or technical certification in automotive body repair (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Auto Denter or in a similar role.
- Skilled in metal shaping, dent removal, and frame straightening techniques.
- Basic knowledge of welding and cutting tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings or job cards.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy tools and vehicle parts.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
