Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and determine appropriate repair techniques.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform dent removal procedures, ensuring minimal impact on the vehicle's original finish.
- Conduct paintless dent repair (PDR) by manipulating metal surfaces to restore their shape without the need for repainting.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to develop repair strategies and timelines that optimize workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in dent repair, including attending training sessions as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair processes and timelines clearly to clients.
- Document all repairs made, maintaining accurate records for quality assurance and customer reference.
- Evaluate and recommend further repairs or services based on vehicle condition assessments.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues in their tasks.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in auto body repair preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in dent repair or related automotive services.
- Experience working in fast-paced automotive shops or dealerships, demonstrating adaptability to changing work demands.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with customers and team members alike.
