Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Direct the planning, organization, and review of assigned engagements.
Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses risks.
Participate in the engagement process and act as a technical resource for staff.
Share ideas with other staff, coach and mentor all levels of staff and support critical reasoning with proper firm and professional standards.
Develop personnel, delegate assignments to audit staff, and provide timely performance feedback.
Assist with recruiting and retaining talented professionals and ensure that knowledge gets passed down to all levels.
Performance of audit procedures on complex audit areas.
Perform a preliminary review of financial statements and/or preliminary analytics and recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships that may require adjustment to the audit plan or clarification from the client.
Review audit working papers of the audit staff.
Oversee preparation of audit reports, including financial statements and management letters.
Desired Candidate Profile
A Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
A valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent ( The best ).
Approximated 5 years of current experience with a big 4 public accounting firm.
Excellent project management skills.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Integrity within a professional environment.
Dedication to teamwork and excellent leadership skills.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is desired (Pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.)
