As an Audio Visual Technician, you will ensure that all audio, visual, and lighting systems operate flawlessly, supporting seamless meetings, events, and entertainment experiences for our guests.

What will I be doing?

As Audio Visual Technician, you will:

• Set up, operate, and maintain all audio-visual and lighting equipment for events, meetings, and functions.
• Provide on-site technical support during conferences, banquets, and special events to ensure smooth delivery.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot AV systems, including sound, video, lighting, projectors, and control systems.
• Coordinate with Event Managers, Banquet teams, and external vendors to meet client requirements.
• Assist with the design and implementation of AV setups for bespoke events.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment use, repairs, and inventory.
• Ensure all equipment is properly stored, maintained, and kept in excellent working condition.
• Respond promptly to guest and client technical requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support the smooth functioning of the Events and Engineering departments.
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as an AV Technician, preferably within luxury hospitality or events.
• Strong technical knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during live events.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
