Main Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop annual and semester plans for the subject according to content and performance standards for Music Arts.
• Prepare a weekly plan based on content standards and learning outcomes for Music Arts, specifying classroom and extracurricular activities, and implementing it.
• Form a school music team from students to perform musical roles during morning assembly activities.
• Design and prepare various tests and examinations for the subject, evaluate and measure student performance, analyze results for improvement, and complete evaluation and documentation tasks accurately and on time according to established procedures.
• Design and implement comprehensive remedial plans for low-performing students and enrichment plans for gifted and outstanding students in coordination with relevant authorities.
• Possess appropriate musical knowledge of local Emirati folk arts.
• Engage in self-development and professional growth.

Skills Qualifications & Experience

Requirements for Expatriates:

• Bachelor s Degree in Music Education / Audio Arts
• Minimum GPA of 2.5

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years for those without a teaching license
• Minimum of 2 years for those holding a teaching license
• Age must not exceed 55 years

Skills:

• Proficiency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Computer literacy and proficiency in its applications
• Passing the tests and interview prepared by the institution
• Provide an IELTS Academic score of 5.0 or an EmSAT score of 1100 or higher for all subjects taught in Arabic for non-native English speakers within 6 months of appointment
• Must obtain a teaching license within the first two years from the joining date

Requirements for Emirati Nationals:

• Bachelor s Degree in Music Education / Audio Arts
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Work Experience not required for UAE National
• Must not exceed 55 years
