Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor the production of HVAC accessories, including:
Fire Dampers, Smoke Dampers, Motorized Smoke & Fire Dampers, Volume Control Dampers, Motorized VCDs, Sound Attenuators, VAV/CAV Units, Registers & Grilles, Diffusers, Louvers, Spiral Ducts, and Fans.
Plan and allocate daily work schedules, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Monitor production output to ensure commitments on delivery schedules are met without delays.
Conduct random inspections of semi-finished and finished goods for quality compliance.
Ensure efficient machine changeover, operation, and reporting of capacity/utilization per shift.
Prepare and maintain daily production reports with accurate entries in ERP/SAP systems.

Conduct quality checks on raw materials, WIP, and finished goods against approved specifications.
Inspect incoming raw material shipments (local and overseas) and report discrepancies with photographic evidence.
Coordinate with design and quality teams for product testing, certifications, and continuous improvements.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, UL requirements, and internal factory safety policies.

Forecast material requirements and coordinate with stores and purchase departments for timely availability.
Maintain secure and organized storage for raw materials and finished goods.
Track WIP and RM stock at defined intervals (monthly/bi-monthly).
Coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time loading, dispatch, and delivery for both local and export orders.

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to reduce equipment downtime.
Liaise with AMC contractors for fire safety, calibration, and machine servicing.
Assign and train fire wardens and first-aiders in each shift for safety preparedness.
Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) practices across all operations.

Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency, cost control, and productivity.
Support automation projects, development of jigs/fixtures, and R&D for new product enhancements.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and waste minimization.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma / bachelor’s degree in mechanical or production engineering (preferred).
5–10 years of experience in HVAC or sheet-metal manufacturing (dampers, filters, ducts, or accessories).
Practical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication (punching, bending, assembly line processes).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; AutoCAD / SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP/SAP systems.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Knowledge of ISO standards, UL procedures, and factory safety practices.
