The Team

We seek to resolve disputes by the most effective means, whether through negotiation, litigation, arbitration or mediation, balancing a proportionate response and the achievement of an optimal result. Supported by our ability to deploy well-structured and sizeable teams, when and where required, we guide our clients carefully through the disputes process, whatever their chosen route.

Essential Skills & Experience

You will have an excellent litigation background gained from another highly respected private practice or a mixture of private practice and in-house from within the GCC region, or from overseas, with the following core competencies:

  • An excellent background in high value, complex commercial litigation and arbitration, with superb regulatory compliance and investigation experience
  • Strong academic credentials, self-driven with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Qualified in England & Wales or from any other common law jurisdiction
  • Regional experience is preferred
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience or equivalent
  • A strong academic background, training and experience gained with either a well-recognised international or regional top tier firm
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Commercial awareness and confidence in building a rapport with clients to gain a better understanding of their business needs and with the assistance of the partners, actively developing these client relationships
  • The ability to lead, delegate and foster a positive team atmosphere.
