Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate in Corporate Advisory, your primary responsibilities will include to:
- Carry out analysis of industries and companies (business, market, strategy, financials, investment merits, risks)
- Prepare and take the lead on the financial model (financial statement analysis, financial projections)
- Support the preparation of pitch books for client meetings and internal documents for mandate execution, including supporting their delivery, in coordination with other deal team members.
- Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish effective collaboration with a range of internal departments of the bank, including Capital Markets, Coverage, Credit and Derivatives
- Meet excellent standards with respect to operational management, communication, governance and compliance with all internal and external regulations, guidelines, standards and procedures
Skills
Functional / Technical Competencies: Essential: Accounting and corporate finance knowledge Credit analysis and cashflow modelling Experience creating clear, structured and compelling pitch materials Good written and spoken English Excellent Microsoft Office skills Preferred: Competency in another European language
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience in Acquisition Finance, Leveraged Finance, or M&A advisory
