Job Description

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our restaurant. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant management, including customer service, team leadership, and operational efficiency. Your commitment to delivering a high-quality dining experience, coupled with your ability to manage staff and resources effectively, will be key to the success of our establishment. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards for food quality and service, as well as playing a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your focus on training, development, and engagement of the staff will help create a positive environment that supports the overall mission of our brand.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily operations to ensure effective and efficient restaurant functioning.
  • Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager to supervise the restaurant s front and back of house staff.
  • Oversee customer service functions to meet and exceed guest expectations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock availability.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to address food quality and presentation standards.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Support with financial management including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to provide a safe dining environment.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Contribute to menu development and pricing strategies based on customer feedback.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant to uphold brand standards.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and guests.
  • Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of restaurant management practices and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Understanding of financial management to support budgeting and cost control activities.
