Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of a high-end dining outlet within a prestigious luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing restaurant teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and upholding the highest service and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including service, staff supervision, and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning and maintain consistent service standards.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in managing team schedules, floor assignments, and operational planning.
• Supervise, train, and motivate service staff to maintain high levels of professionalism and efficiency.
• Handle guest concerns and feedback with prompt and effective resolution.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service.
• Assist in inventory control, stock ordering, and cost management.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards as per hotel policies.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager within the luxury hotel industry.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
• Strong leadership and team management abilities with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure environments and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and hygiene protocols.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Locally available candidates in Qatar with valid QID and transferable visa. (preferred)
