Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Reservations Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing room occupancy and revenue while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

  • Assist the Reservations & Revenue Manager in managing and optimizing room occupancy and revenue strategies
  • Oversee daily reservation operations and support the reservations team in providing excellent customer service
  • Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
  • Generate and analyze reservation reports on daily, weekly, and yearly basis to aid in decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences from booking to check-out
  • Implement and maintain reservation systems and procedures to maximize efficiency
  • Train and mentor reservation team members, focusing on talent development and performance improvement
  • Stay updated on local and international hospitality trends to inform reservation strategies
  • Participate in revenue management meetings and contribute insights for pricing and inventory decisions
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and industry standards in all reservation processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in reservation systems, preferably Accor reservation system and Opera Cloud
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and report generation
  • Excellent knowledge of revenue management strategies and practices
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer-focused approach
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
  • In-depth understanding of the luxury hospitality market in Dubai and the UAE
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
