Assistant Professor in Project Management

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Dhofar University is seeking applications for a full time Assistant Professor faculty position commencing in Fall 2025 (September). Applicant should hold a Ph.D. in Project / Construction Management from a reputable university. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a brand-new Master in Project Management, shaping the future generation of project leaders in Oman.

Do you have the expertise to:

• Deliver high-quality courses in project management, risk management, decision analysis? project safety & quality, leadership & team building, and more?
• Conduct research in project management and related fields?
• Contribute to innovative curriculum development and effective teaching practices?
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create a dynamic learning environment?

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

• A PhD in Construction/Project Management or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching construction/project management at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
• Demonstrated research experience.
• Teaching experience at the university level for a minimum of 3 years.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Affiliation with relevant professional bodies (CIOB, APM, PMP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ABET accreditation and institutional standards assessment.
