Description

The Department of Mass Communication and Media in the College of Arts and Sciences at GUST invites applicants for a full-time faculty position in Digital Media Production to start in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach, among others, Fundamentals of Broadcasting, Field Production, Visual Storytelling, and Advanced A/V Production practices and workflow. Proven abilities in the scholarship of film and cinema studies and international broadcasting cultures are viewed as major assets. The State of Kuwait does not recognize degrees from online universities.

Minimum Qualifications

The applicant must have completed a PhD in Digital Media Production or any related field from a reputable North American (U.S. or Canada) or European university with extensive teaching experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to quality teaching, have a mix of academic, professional and technical expertise in this area. He/she should possess excellent communication skills in English, be ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team
