Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing operational strategies that align with company goals and enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and meet quality standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability and reducing excess through effective forecasting.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication among departments to ensure seamless workflow and resolve operational issues.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff to foster a productive work environment.
  • Implement and maintain safety policies to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe workplace.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost management to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct regular audits of operational processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Lead special projects to streamline operations and enhance service delivery to customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations management or a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management are highly advantageous.
  • Experience in the relevant industry, such as logistics, manufacturing, or retail, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for tracking operational performance is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus, depending on the market.
