Job Description

The Assistant Front Office Manager is a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the hotel's front office, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall success of the property. This position involves overseeing the coordination and supervision of the front office staff to ensure efficient and courteous service delivery. The Assistant Front Office Manager acts as a liaison between the front desk, reservations, and concierge while maintaining open communication with other departments to provide guests with a harmonious experience. The role demands a high level of customer service, the ability to handle guest complaints and inquiries effectively, and the capacity to support the Front Office Manager in various administrative tasks. Our ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.


Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations and team supervision.
  • Ensure that front office staff performs duties according to hotel policies and standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest service and operations.
  • Conduct training sessions and performance evaluations for front office personnel.
  • Supervise front desk activities to ensure guests receive a welcoming and efficient check-in.
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and equipment for the front office department.
  • Prepare and manage the front office schedule to maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Maintain updated records of bookings, payments, and guest valuables.
  • Implement and monitor procedures to ensure security and confidentiality of guest information.
  • Support management in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in resolving any operational challenges or emergency situations when they arise.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front office or customer service role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve guest issues calmly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality management software.
