The role of an Assistant Front Office Manager is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the front desk of an establishment, such as a hotel, resort, or office complex. Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk team to ensure efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage staff schedules, including shift changes and coverage requirements.
  • Ensure all front desk activities align with company standards and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Supervise check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring they are completed professionally.
  • Monitor guest accounts and handle billing disputes and financial transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and coordinated guest services.
  • Implement and enforce security procedures to protect guests and staff members.
  • Train new front desk staff and provide ongoing training for existing team members.
  • Maintain and update documentation of front office procedures and policies regularly.
  • Support the Front Office Manager in administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Utilize software systems for guest reservations, billing, and record-keeping accurately.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a front office or customer service role is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest interactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Proficient in front office management software and basic computer operations.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently with professionalism.
