Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join the team at the iconic Queen Elizabeth II (QE2), Dubai s only floating hotel. This role supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations, supervising team members, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining efficient communication with other departments. You will be instrumental in delivering a high standard of hospitality that reflects the QE2 s unique heritage and luxury positioning.

What You ll Do

* Supervise and delegate duties to front office team members, preparing and managing weekly work schedules.
* Ensure proper room allocation, verify guest details, and confirm payment methods.
* Monitor team attendance, manage leave calendars, and ensure adequate staffing.
* Suggest operational improvements to enhance service standards.
* Plan and organize regular training sessions on courtesy, efficiency, and job knowledge.
* Maintain effective communication and cooperation between the front office and other departments.
* Oversee night shift operations, ensuring completion of reports, system checks, and date changes as per standards.
* Liaise with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and guest requirements are met.
* Review reservation details prior to guest arrivals and update Opera system as needed.
* Conduct daily briefings and personally check special room requests before guest arrivals.
* Handle and resolve guest complaints while anticipating needs to deliver personalized service.
* Ensure guest records and documentation are accurate and up to date.

Ideal Profile

* Proven leadership experience in a front office or guest services supervisory role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and Opera PMS.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Collaborative mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.
