Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Facility Manager to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facility. This role involves coordinating with service providers, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting in the smooth running of all facility-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, cleaning, and security.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely execution of services.
  • Monitor facility equipment and infrastructure, reporting issues and ensuring timely repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain records related to maintenance schedules, inspections, and facility usage.
  • Support budgeting and cost control by tracking facility-related expenses.
  • Supervise support staff such as cleaners, technicians, and security personnel.
  • Assist in space planning, office moves, and resource allocation.
  • Handle administrative tasks including correspondence, documentation, and reporting.
  • Act as a point of contact for facility-related queries or emergencies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Good knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAFM or facility management software is an advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of local safety and compliance regulations.
