Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the design studio and oversee all design deliverables.
  • • Prepare and monitor project-wise design schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
  • • Ensure proper utilization of team resources and track individual performance through daily and weekly timesheets.
  • • Provide creative guidance and design direction during concept development to ensure alignment with project vision and client expectations.
  • • Review and approve all technical drawings, material specifications, and BOQs before submission to the client or internal departments.
  • • Ensure all drawings and documentation are accurate and aligned with site execution requirements.
  • • Prepare and submit design proposals with clear technical content for coordination with the Finance team.
  • • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure design intent is translated correctly during fit-out execution.
  • • Lead the interface between design and execution, resolving design-related issues and coordinating with other departments.
  • • Review tender documents and prepare design-related bid submissions in collaboration with estimation and commercial teams.
  • • Manage and track design changes, ensuring all variations are documented and updated in the design and project database.
  • • Review and monitor team KPIs and performance, and submit a weekly progress report to the CEO.
  • • Implement new systems or workflow policies to enhance the productivity and quality of the design studio.
  • • Take complete ownership of design operations including timesheets, task delegation, studio resource planning, and quality assurance.
  • • Ensure all work complies with local codes, project budgets, and company standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

• 5–8 years of experience in interior design and fit-out, with at least 2–3 years in a team management or leadership role. • Strong portfolio of hospitality, corporate office, and luxury villa projects.

• Excellent technical knowledge in drawings, detailing, BOQs, and fit-out execution.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, MS Office, Revit 3D Max

• Proven experience in reviewing tender packages and preparing design bids.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Highly detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality under deadlines.

• Positive, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
