Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Reservations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Reservations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring that all guest inquiries and bookings are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of personalized service. You will play a key role in maximizing room revenue, maintaining strong relationships with internal departments, and ensuring an exceptional pre-arrival experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the reservations team to ensure smooth workflow and consistent service excellence.

  • Assist in managing room inventory, rates, and availability in coordination with Revenue and Sales departments.

  • Monitor and analyze booking patterns, group blocks, and reservation trends to optimize occupancy and revenue.

  • Handle VIP, group, and special reservation requests with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Support the Reservations Manager in training, coaching, and developing team members.

  • Ensure all guest data is accurate and up to date in the system (Opera, PMS, or equivalent).

  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Marketing to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.

  • Prepare reports and assist in implementing reservation-related procedures and policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 3 years of experience in Reservations or Front Office, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.

  • Strong understanding of hotel reservations systems (Opera experience preferred).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.

  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
