Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily food production to ensure timely and accurate preparation of items for branch delivery
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene, safety, and company standards
Monitor food quality, portioning, and consistency according to recipes and SOPs
Ensure efficient use of raw materials and reduce kitchen waste
Coordinate with the CK Manager on inventory management, stock rotation, and requisition planning
Implement and uphold food safety (HACCP) and sanitation standards
Assist in training new CK team members and upskilling current staff
Participate in R&D for new products and process improvements
Report daily production output, incidents, and maintenance needs
Step in for the CK Manager in their absence
Qualifications:
Proven experience as Sous Chef, Head Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor in QSR or central kitchen
Solid knowledge of bulk food production and storage
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP certification is a plus)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays if needed
Culinary diploma or equivalent is preferred
