Assistant Boiler Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Boiler Technician to join our maintenance team in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facility's boilers and heating systems. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced technicians to learn and assist in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of boiler units. Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in the maintenance and repair of boiler systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Monitor boiler operations, identifying malfunctions or irregularities that require further investigation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations by conducting regular boiler inspections.
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance activities to extend the lifecycle of boiler equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company procedures and standards.
• Support the installation and testing of new boiler systems and related equipment.
• Participate in routine safety drills and emergency response activities to ensure readiness.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of boiler system issues under the supervision of senior staff.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained, cleaned, and stored properly after use.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in boiler rooms and adjoining areas.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical and safety skills continuously.
• Collaborate with other facility management team members to ensure integrated building operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is preferred.
• Basic understanding of boiler systems, operations, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply technical concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting and reporting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
• Physical stamina for lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
