As Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the Bar Manager in leading our bar operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Hilton luxury standards. You will assist in supervising the team, maintaining high service and product quality, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements.
What will I be doing?
An Assistant Bar Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Support the Bar Manager in the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring consistent, high-quality service.
- Supervise and motivate bar team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Maintain effective control of beverage stock levels, ordering, and storage in line with forecasted demand.
- Assist with training, coaching, and performance management of the team.
- Oversee bar cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to beverage menu development and promotions in alignment with brand standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Support financial targets through cost control, upselling, and revenue-generating initiatives.
An Assistant Bar Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Previous supervisory experience in a bar or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of beverages, mixology, and wine service.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
