ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR University of Sharjah

The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences is seeking to hire a highly
motivated faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Stem Cell
and Tissue Regeneration. He/She should be specialized in the area of stem cell
biology, preferably with expertise in gene editing of stem cells for therapeutic
applications; and/or regeneration. The candidate is expected to teach courses
at undergraduate level such as Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Introduction
to Research, and graduate level such as Advanced Lab techniques, Research
Methods and related courses. The candidate is expected to supervise graduation
projects and thesis at both undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate
should have administrative experience as well as excellent publication record
in reputable journals and more than ten years hands-on-experience in the field.
The candidate is expected to collaborate with RIMHS researchers on
joint-interdisciplinary projects involving stem cell research and therapy. The
candidate will spend 50% of his/her time teaching and 50% research.
