Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure that AS400 applications meet specified requirements and are free of errors.
  • Maintain and update AS400 system documentation, including code documentation, user manuals, and system diagrams.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that code adheres to coding standards and best practices.
  • Design and develop new AS400 applications, including database design, user interface design, and application logic.
  • Analyze existing AS400 applications, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain RPG, CL, and SQL code to meet business requirements and system specifications, ensuring code quality and efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in AS400 development, showcasing practical experience in diverse projects.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator - iSeries, demonstrating expertise in AS400 administration.
  • Nationality preference is not a deciding factor, as long as candidate has the legal right to work, and has strong communication skills in English.
  • Displays a proactive attitude, with a passion for learning and staying updated with the latest AS400 technologies.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
