Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Owning Organization: GDC ME
Description:
Responsible for ensuring the safety of the airport environment through effective response to aircraft emergencies, firefighting, rescue operations, and hazardous material incidents. The candidate will possess a strong sense of duty, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in challenging situations.
Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent.

International Fire Service Accreditation Congress certification (IFSAC), DoD and/or ProBoard.

ARFF Firefighter

Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations

Apparatus Driver Operator ARFF

Apparatus Driver Operator Pumper

Apparatus Driver Operator MWS

Public Telecommunicator I and II

Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) issued by a State Agency, or the National Registry

Minimum of 3 years firefighting experience in a civilian or military firefighting role.

Considerable knowledge of egress and safety procedures of various military and civilian rotary wing aircraft, and structural fire/alarm detection / suppression systems. Expert knowledge of aircraft rescue and firefighting techniques, practices, and equipment, as well as first aid and CPR.

As part of the selection process, a physical will be conducted. Candidates must have normal color discrimination, visual acuity correctable to 20/20 in one eye, 20/30 in the other eye and not more than 20/200, each eye, uncorrected.
- Possesses a valid driver s license.
Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
Compliance with Saudi Labor Law: All employment terms and conditions will be in accordance with Saudi Labor Law. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to these regulations throughout their employment.
