Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across assigned project area

  • Ensure construction and mining works are executed in line with safety standards, design specifications, and project schedule

  • Manage subcontractors, trades, and internal crews to maintain productivity and quality

  • Monitor progress against construction program and implement corrective actions as required

  • Lead and participate in daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements

  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to resolve site issues

  • Maintain daily site records, reporting progress, incidents, delays, and resource usage

  • Support commissioning and handover processes within your area of responsibility

  • Drive a positive site culture through effective leadership and communication

Qualifications

  • Experienced in a construction supervisory role on large-scale mining, infrastructure, or heavy industrial projects

  • Previous experience as an Authorised Person/SAP (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HV/LV systems, process systems)

  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high-risk, fast-paced environment

  • Deep understanding of construction methodologies, safe work systems, and commissioning interface

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills

  • Strong reporting and documentation skills
