Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager Sales & Merchandising to oversee and grow our operations in Basrah, the Middle Euphrates, and Northern Iraq.

This role is responsible for managing sales activities, ensuring effective product merchandising, and expanding distribution channels to drive market share growth across the assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales operations and ensure achievement of area sales targets across Basrah, the Middle Euphrates, and Northern Iraq.
  • Oversee product merchandising and visibility in retail outlets.
  • Develop and expand sales channels to increase market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights for growth strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 8 years of experience in FMCG (tobacco industry experience is an advantage).
  • Strong track record in sales, merchandising, and market development.
  • Previous experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Based in Basrah & willing to travel around the Middle Euphrates
