Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
he overall objective of the job:
Managing, organizing, and maintaining the company’s records and documents electronically through the Records Management System (EDRMS/DRMS), while ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and applicable legislation in the Sultanate.
Main responsibilities
1. Monitoring and managing the expiry dates of government and company-specific licenses
2. Implementing, updating and monitoring records management policies and procedures.
3. Conduct audits and evaluations of the DRMS/DRMS archive and records management system.
4. Classify, archive, and destroy records securely in accordance with approved standards.
5. Coordinating with departments to organize files and documents.
6. Maintaining records of the company's vehicles and assets.
7. Coordinating with government agencies regarding compliance and renewals
8. Supporting human resources and management tasks related to the ERP system.
9. Preparing and maintaining biosecurity records for company sites.
10. Contributing to auditing processes and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
Skills and competencies
Organization and management of multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of government procedures and licenses in the Sultanate of Oman.
- Familiarity with the use of EDRMS/DRMS systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- The ability to work effectively across different sites and departments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Archives and Information Management, Records.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in administration, records management, or coordination with government agencies.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in biosecurity or the aquaculture sector.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs and record management systems.
