Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are hiring a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our Engineering Management & Technical Office team (DPT08). The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-accuracy execution drawings for all architectural elements based on approved design documents, while coordinating across other engineering disciplines to ensure full technical integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed execution drawings for all architectural elements (walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, elevations, finishes, etc.) using specialized software, based on approved architectural and design drawings.
- Translate architectural models and notes provided by the architect into accurate and detailed shop drawings.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure clash-free integration and complete design alignment.
- Update architectural drawings based on design revisions or approved change orders in coordination with project and site engineers.
- Organize and archive all architectural drawings and related documents according to the technical office system for easy access and version control.
- Support the technical team in preparing architectural details, sections, and elevations as required.
- Calculate quantities of architectural elements based on execution drawings.
- Prepare accurate "As-Built" drawings by conducting site visits and documenting the actual executed works.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Proficiency in architectural design and drafting software: AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of architectural elements, materials, construction methods, and finishing details.
- High accuracy and attention to technical detail in drawing preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong time and task management.
- Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English (verbal and written).
- Qualifications:
No specific academic degree required. - Years of Experience:
Minimum 8 years.
