Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the performance of contractors and subcontractors, evaluating their quality control systems and processes to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve quality-related issues, providing technical guidance and recommendations to improve quality outcomes.
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with Aramco standards, specifications, and project requirements, safeguarding project integrity.
- Witness and verify critical tests, such as hydrostatic testing, NDT, and performance tests, ensuring adherence to approved procedures and verifying results.
- Review and approve project-related documents, including ITPs, WPS/PQR, and drawings, to ensure compliance with project requirements and Aramco standards.
- Verify the implementation and effectiveness of quality control procedures and processes throughout all project phases, from fabrication to installation, to prevent defects.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, including accurate records of non-conformances, corrective actions, and inspection results, to track progress and ensure accountability.
- Participate in internal and external audits, contributing to the continuous improvement of quality management systems and processes.
- Stay updated on Aramco standards, industry best practices, and relevant codes, proactively seeking knowledge to enhance inspection capabilities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Holds valid Aramco approval as a QA/QC Inspector, demonstrating the required qualifications and experience in the industry.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in QA/QC within the oil and gas industry, specifically with Aramco projects, to handle complex projects.
- Demonstrates extensive experience with Aramco standards and specifications, showcasing a deep understanding of project requirements.
- Possesses a bachelor's degree in engineering or Diploma in (Mechanical, Electrical or related field) to apply technical knowledge effectively.
