Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Ø Book in vehicles, ensuring appointments are convenient for the customer and the company and are in line with workshop capacity.

Ø Produce accurate job cards, invoices, and related customer information, providing relevant information to both the workshop and external customers.

Ø Liaise with the parts department to ensure parts availability, keeping customers informed.

Ø Greet all customers at reception, offering courtesy services as appropriate and confirming details before repairs are carried out. Ensuring vehicle inspections are carried out with guests prior to commencement of works.

Ø Informing customers on the progress of each job, ensuring authority for any additional work before this is completed.

Ø Collect any invoice amount/signed authority due prior to the release of a vehicle and ensure this is processed promptly.

Ø Log all customer complaints, pass relevant information to the Service Manager, and ensure a speedy conclusion.

Ø Maintain the reception area in accordance with departmental standards and identified customer needs.

Ø Provide customers with explanations of all work carried out and recommended, optimizing additional selling opportunities, including service plans and extended warranties.

Ø Maintain records of all service customers to enable customer follow-ups to be carried out.

Ø Respond to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.

Ø Maintain and develop receptionist knowledge through attending relevant training opportunities.

Ø Assist in the training and supervision of other associates as appropriate.

Ø Maintain quality standards of dress, attitude, customer care, honesty, and health and safety to always portray a professional image to guests.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 1 year experience with automotive industry, preferably in a similar service role. 
•    Technical knowledge provides up-to-date technical information in response to customer inquiries.
•    Excellent customer service, willing to go the extra mile.
•    Strong English communications skills, Arabic speaker an added advantage!
